The UT Martin College of Education, Health, and Behavioral Sciences is where heroes go to learn. Whether it’s learning to enforce the law, teaching the next generation of students, or seeking the answer to psychological issues, our students are ready to serve others.

Our Students

What makes the students within this college different? Our students really like people! They care about others, including their peers, people in need, and their communities. They see the positive and desire to make things the best they can be. They are strong workers who are preparing for the battles of life ahead.

Student Organizations

  • Department of Behavioral Sciences: Criminal Justice Society; Kappa Epsilon chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma; the National Criminal Justice Honor Society; Student Social Work Association; and Phi Alpha, the National Social Workers’ Honor Society.
  • Department of Educational Studies: The Association for Childhood Education International; The Council for Exceptional Children; Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education; and The Page Turners.
