Welcome to the New Teacher Program webpage! The New Teacher program provides structured and individualized support for new teachers in their first and second years of practice. The purpose of the program is to increase teacher effectiveness during the early years by providing in-person and virtual resources that will improve the classroom practice of teachers over time. The program supports new UTM Education graduates and Job Embedded teachers who are presently employed as a teacher of record in their respective school districts.
