About Residence Life
Welcome to residence life at UTM! As you embark on your academic journey, we're here to provide support and guide you through the exciting process of discovering yourself while thriving in a close-knit community.
At UTM, we believe that your residential experience is an invaluable part of your education. Our dedicated staff is committed to cultivating an environment that nurtures social inclusiveness, fosters responsibility and accountability, encourages self-governance, promotes academic achievement, stimulates community development, and facilitates personal fulfillment.
We encourage you to actively engage in your community and make positive contributions. You will have an opportunity to embrace the diversity that defines the UTM community and gain a deep appreciation for the differences that can make us stronger. Take the initiative to introduce yourself to your neighbors and forge connections with your Resident Assistant (RA). Our RAs are specially trained resources, poised to support your success and address any questions or concerns you may have.
Remember, much of the transformative learning experience at UTM unfolds outside of the classroom, with residence life playing a pivotal role. We sincerely hope that your time spent on campus will be an immensely rewarding and memorable aspect of your UTM journey.
Sincerely,
Ryan Martin
Assistant Director for Residence Life
